I'm one of those people who loves to write "To Do" lists. Actually, I don't really love to write the lists necessariliy, but I love to cross things off of the lists. It gives me such a feeling of accomplishment and that I'm actually getting somewhere. I'm pretty organized and good at getting my priorities straight about what I need to do, but occasionally when I'm bored or have some extra time on my hands, I write my lists. Sometimes I'll add little easy things to my list just so that I will have something to cross off. It kind of gives me hope that I will be able to finish everything on the list one day.

After talking with a friend, I created a list of 10 things that I wanted to do before I graduated. I finally finished it, my list is complete! It hit me yesterday that even though I only had one thing left to do, I only had 2 weeks to do it in. My last thing to do on my list was to take a nap lying in the UC Davis Arboretum. With the rainy spring weather that we had this year, it made it hard for me to accomplish this task, and therefore put it off until now. The weather again isn't helping because it is so hot, I would risk heat stroke lying out there on the grass. ;) As luck would have it, one of my classes was cancelled today and I had an hour to spare before my next class. So I trudged all the way across campus so that I could cross out and finish my list for the year. It's a good thing my goal was to lie down because once I finally reached the Arboretum, I was so hot and tired that I just plopped down on the grass. But it was all worth it...because my list is done! The things that I will go through just to cross something off of a list. :)
