little stinker

So my plans for today were to do nothing. And doing absolutely nothing...was exactly how my day started. I slept in a little, then mostly just chilled around the house. I let the dogs out to play in the yard to enjoy the nice day. About an hour later, I went to let them back into the house. Toby ran in, happy and refreshed. Max followed along. I noticed that a section of his fur had gotten all clumped and hard. So I pulled out the towels and brush and was about to brush it out when the overwhelming stench of pee & poop reached my nose. Wow. Did he somehow decide for the first time ever, that today was the perfect day to roll around in that grossness? So I dragged the little bugger out to the hose in the backyard and hosed him down and gave him a bath. I wasn't about to bring that stinkiness into the house to give him a bath in the sink as usual and the little guy was afraid of the hose nozzle so we had quite the struggle.

So now I am all wet and scratched and have another load of laundry to do.

So much for chillin' today, huh?

But how could you stand this little face...

Hey Kimmy!

I saw your blog on "blogs of note" and Im glad I did. Unfortunately, I had to put my dogs to sleep. One of the hardest things I've ever had to do. So coming here and looking at your sweet doggy's face was just what I needed! Thanks for that!

I just started my own blog. Come check it out when you get a chance.

I am at the other end, Miami, Florida. I understand the love of animals and the craziness they cause, we can only love them. I have a habit of taking in lost animals myself. I have 2 dogs, 9 cats, 3 parrots, 2 ferrets, 2 rats, lizard, 3 fish ponds and a saltwater tank. I hardly have time for anything else. Enjoy them.

hi, kimbalina!
i'm bless, a filipina,45 yrs old and a full time homemaker. something was pushing me to go open google account this morning, and that's how i came accross your blog. kimbalina, i see that you worked with google for a couple of years, i wonder if i could possibly seek out your help.i would like to do online job to help me earn money from home.i have been doing my assignment the past 3 days, making researches here and there. i have decided that i would like to come up with my own site and make use of what google has to offer, advertise in my site and then pay me. i haven't started yet because for one i still have to learn how to do it and how to go about with it. could you possibly give me some advise on how to go about with it and how best to do it? thank you so much kimbalina. I really thank God for leading me to your blog. The Lord bless you richly.

Adorable little guy with such a sweet face!

I really love dogs, but no matter how sweet and wonderful, every now and then they still throw you a curve ball, no matter what.

I have a sweet yellow lab named Annie who we got through a rescue organization a year ago. She is just perfect, such a sweetie, but once a month or so I come home to a massive pile of poop by the front door. Lovely.

Animals, you gotta love em!
