We got to relax at the beach and watch the sun set in La Jolla...
squeal as the cute little penguins played...
brave the screaming of the seals as they fought the birds for fish....
watch ginormous polar bears play together in the water...
and go on a pseudo African Safari at the Wild Animal Park and see buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, and other animals roam.

Your picture of the polar bears is unique! San Diego is a wonderful place to visit.
San Diego is a nice zoo... too bad it plays second fiddle to a zoo in Omaha.

I went to San Diego State. I will always be IN LOVE with San Diego. Next time you go down, try to visit Point Loma beach. BEAUTIFUL!
Coincidentally, I live in San Diego. It's a beautiful place, isn't it?
We wondered who brought us the bad weather -- now we know! :^)
BTW, we always tell people we don't like to visit in May (May Gray) or June (June Gloom) because that's when we get cloudy weather at the coast.
Try the week after Labor Day (or Labor Day) when all the Zonies are gone...much nicer!
I just moved from San Diego. =( I miss it terribly. La Jolla was one of my favorite areas, along with Ocean Beach - which is funny because they are nothing alike. Such a beautiful city!
