Nearing the end...

Almost done...one more quarter....and then I'm FREE!!! Wahoo....yippee!!! But before I celebrate too early, I need to survive the next week of finals. I need to strap myself to the chair and read...read...read...study....study...study...so that I can pass my classes and move on to my fun filled spring quarter. Ahh....I think that is what keeps me going....just thinking about how much fun next quarter will be. Spring quarter is always a blast and so much fun. It must be the beautiful weather and the sun that seems to make everyone just a little bit happier. I can feel spring coming...and I am so excited. But, not only am I excited for sping quarter because of the weather, but it will be my very first relaxing quarter of my entire college career. I have survived four years of engineering courses (almost) and finally get to relax. I'm going to be taking...Aerobics, golf, management, two nutrition classes, and Computer Security (my very last engineering class). Sounds like a lot of classes yes...but combined add up to only 14 units. Ahh...the .5 units for PE classes. :) In the meantime, winter quarter is still calling me, and the next week will consist only of studying for finals.

ZZZzzzzz....

I am a very deep sleeper. It's not that easy for me to fall asleep, but once I'm asleep, I am dead to the world. No...really. No fire alarm, earthquake, nor horrendous disastor could awaken me from my beauty sleep. I honestly wonder if it is some sort of illness. Many people don't understand my sleeping 'disorder' until faced with the task of waking me up.

I have 5 alarm clocks...no not 1,2,3 or even 4, but 5, to wake me up in the morning. Each are set to go off 5 minutes apart from each other so that I might be able to hear one of them. Some genius created an alarm clock that has two alrams on it (probably for people like me) that I use as my main clock. Then I have a travel alarm clock that I set further away from my bed so that to turn it off, I have to sit up. I also have the alarm on my cell phone which not only sounds but also vibrates. I put it under my pillow so that my vibrating head will wake me up in the morning. And my last alarm clock, which I personally think is the greatest one is my stereo. It has a feature that turns on at a certain time and plays a CD. My boyfriend gave me the cutest gift, a "wakeup cd." When the CD player turns on, the first track is of him saying, "Good morning Kimmy, It's time to rise and shine." Then the first song on the CD is "It's a Great Day to Be Alive" by Travis Tritt (great for me the little country lover). Then several other "pick me up" & "wake up" songs throughout the CD and little "Are you awake yet?" messages throughout. Can you be any cuter or more romantic? I think not. ;)

With all of these alarms and wakeup attempts, I somehow manage to still sleep through them sometimes....aiya...
